This helps extract attachments to Outlook mail.
Attachments are a part of emails you receive. There is only one problem with that. The PST file keeps growing and Outlook, notoriously, slows down when that happens. There is a limit of 2 GB anyway on the PST file size. One option is if the attachment could be stored separately yet maintaining the connection. This tool helps extract attachments and inserts a link to the mail message. This way the links help retrieve the attachments when needed and the PST file size does not increase as quickly, delaying the performance penalty by a large extent. The slowness should start much later. This process of detaching the attachments will be slow if done manually. Besides, there will be possibilities of corruption if manual errors happen. The error prone process is easily tackled by the tool.
The attachments are saved in a separate folder. The folders can be saved in folder hierarchy structure, no hierarchy or subject wise folder hierarchy. The extraction process does not introduce any corruption at all. It can handle one PST or multiple PST files at a time. Even when the PST file gets corrupted, the attachments file could still be accessed correctly. This application names the attachment file with a suffix that includes the subject of the mail. The application ensures that none of the attachments get deleted or damaged. The program is compatible with MS Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010 with both 32 bit and 64 bit editions. The interface is simple and controls make it easy to create a batch of files easily for processing together. This is a very good utility when you need this kind of functionality.
